Mr. Dennis Harris

Chairman

Mr. Dennis Harris is a fellow of the Association of Certified Accountants with over thirty years experience in Finance, Business Strategy and Operations. Mr. Harris spent fifteen (15) years working for Reed Elsevier PLC. His skills as a manager and leader allowed him to climb the corporate ladder to lead the finance function within the largest division with UK business publishing.

His experience there included acquisitions, strategy and business development as well as IT systems operations and development. After leaving the UK, Mr. Harris joined the Courts PLC Group, which was one of the largest furniture retailers in the UK. He then joined the Jamaica business heading up the Finance, IT and Credit functions.

He also had international responsibilities for the development and rollout of the Key Point of Sales Credit Systems in eighteen (18) countries. His achievements include: the creation, development and implementations of the Group’s revolving credit product – Ready Finance; the growth of Courts Jamaica through innovative and target marketing campaigns, the expansion of the Call Centre into telephone and on-line sales and the improving of the company’s profile in the financial market.

Mr. Harris then assumed the position of Regional Finance Director with responsibility for Finance, Credit and IT across the Caribbean following a restructuring of the Courts PLC Group. He is currently the Managing Director of Courts Jamaica operated by the Unicomer Group and a director of Jamaica Money Market Brokers Limited (JMMB) for the past ten (10) years and
 CGM Gallagher Insurance Brokers Limited for the past two (2) years. Mr. Harris is also   

the Chairman of Capital and Credit Merchant Bank and serves as Chairman for Roth Capital LLC.

Mr. Delroy O. Howell

President, CEO & Deputy Chairman

Delroy Howell holds multiple key roles within various organizations. As the founder, deputy chairman, and CEO of Roth Capital Limited, his leadership shapes the firm’s focus on private equity and real estate investments. Additionally, Mr. Howell serves as the Chairman at Verticast Media Group and CVM Television Limited, further expanding his impactful presence in the media landscape. With a keen eye for opportunity, Mr. Howell also serves as Chairman of Blue Water Jamaica Ltd, a private equity company specializing in large real estate projects and holds the position of Deputy Group Chairman at Kanoo Pays Global, a financial technology company. His extensive portfolio includes chairmanship of IQ Park Limited and Tomae Limited, along with directorship at the Punch Newspaper in Bahamas. Mr. Howell is also Founder and CEO of Cleantalk Inc. In addition to his corporate responsibilities, he actively contributes to supporting clean drinking water and education initiatives in Kenya.

Prior to his role at Roth Capital, Howell founded the First Financial International Group of Companies, serving as Chairman and CEO. During his leadership, one of its subsidiaries, QuikCash Money Transfer, facilitated over USD 1 billion in remittances to the Caribbean. Furthermore, he held the positions of CEO and Chairman at Ocean Chimo Limited, the company that formerly managed the Hilton Jamaica, which was later rebranded as the Wyndham Kingston Hotel. In addition, he served as Chairman of SHN, a US owned medical third-party provider which had responsibility for overseeing the medical care of the citizens of the Turks and Caicos from 2007 - 2009.

Mr. Howell's professional journey began with various roles in the banking sector, commencing at Barclays Bank in the Cayman Islands. Later, he joined the Bank of Bermuda rapidly advancing his banking career. At the tender age of 22, he was recruited by the British American Bank (Fidelity Bank) as Merchant Manager, with responsibilities spanning Credit/Debit/Private Label Cards, Western Union, Merchant Services, and Debt Collection.

Throughout his career, Delroy Howell has garnered numerous accolades, including the Country's Spirit Award from the Cayman Islands Government for his contribution in rebuilding the Cayman Islands after Hurricane Ivan in 2004, the Distinguished Visitor Award by the Mayor and County Commissioners of Miami-Dade County, a Certificate of Appreciation from the Kiwanis Club of New Kingston, in addition to being named Honorary Chair of the United Negro College Fund (Florida Division). He was also appointed Chairman of the Recommitment Committee by the Governor and the Government of the Cayman Islands, an initiative geared at bringing awareness and smooth transitioning for the granting of over 3000 citizenships. Mr. Howell has also served as a notary of the Cayman Islands.

Beyond his professional pursuits, Howell maintains a strong passion for sports. This was demonstrated during his younger years when his exceptional performance led to a full athletic scholarship for football while pursuing studies in Accounting and Political Science. Howell now serves as the Chairman of the Shortwood Football Club and retains his strong love for sports.

Mr. Garston Grant, JP, CBE.

Garston Grant is the current owner and operator of CB Enterprise, an automotive business engaged in motor vehicle sales, motor vehicle rental, petrol services as well as administrative motor vehicle service.

Mr. Garston, an engineer by profession has had extensive entrepreneurial experience, in both the automotive and construction industries. In addition to CB enterprise, he was former owner and operator of Architectural Construction Development & Western Automotive Repairs. He also occupied the position of Chief Engineer at National Bulk carriers for over twenty-seven years.

Mr. Grant has served as director of the Port Authority of the Cayman Islands as well as a board member of the planning department, Cayman Brac. Mr. Grant has been an outstanding and well-respected citizen of the Cayman Island and currently occupies the post of Justice of the Peace and Notary Public. He has made many contributions to Government as well as to his country through the Rotary Club of Grand Cayman and has received a Badge of Honor, one of Cayman’s prestigious Government awards.

Mr. Kenarthur Mitchell – JP, MBA, BSC.

Kenarthur Mitchell is a Management Executive with a distinguished career spanning over thirty years in the areas of Finance, Accounting and Administration.  He holds a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from the University of the West Indies, Mona, a B.Sc. in Management Studies from the same University, a Diploma in Marketing from the Caribbean Institute of Economics and Marketing and a Diploma in Personnel Management from the Institute of Management and Production (IMP).

Mr. Mitchell is currently the Commercial & Finance Manager of Edgechem Jamaica Limited.   He served as the CEO and President of First Financial Caribbean (Jamaica) Ltd. /QuikCash Remittance, where he was responsible for the development of QuikCash/SunMoney transfer services in Jamaica and the Caribbean.  He was also the Deputy General Manager of Finance, Investments and Corporate Planning of City of Kingston Co-operative Credit Union from, where he was instrumental in the development and implementation of sound accounting policies and procedures, research and development of products and services such as the introduction of credit cards, money transfer services and special motor car loan portfolio.  He served as the General Manager of Finance and Administration for Guardian Insurance Brokers, Financial Controller for Industrial Fabrication Ltd. and Assistant Cost Accountant for Colgate Palmolive Ltd.

Kenarthur Mitchell possesses an active social conscience and philanthropy by serving as President of the Immaculate Conception High School Association, Chairman of the Supervisory Committee of the Jamaica Co-operative Credit Union League Limited, Chairman of the Finance Committee of the Kingston and St. Andrew Football Association (KASAFA) , Director of Ocean Chimo/Wyndham Kingston Hotel (2008-2011) and is the former president of the Jamaica Money Remittance Association (2008 – 2011).

Andre Iton

Andre is a financial consultant whose career in Banking and Financial Services spans some thirty seven years. A graduate of the University of the West Indies, he has held CEO and management positions in Development and Commercial banking institutions as well as in other financial services companies. He has served as a Director of various financial services institutions and other entities in a number of Caribbean Islands, including the Bank of St. Vincent and the Grenadines. A keen jazz enthusiast, he has been a radio host of jazz programs in the Cayman Islands for a number of years, In addition, he continues to coordinate a number of annual charitable events in both St. Vincent and the Cayman Islands.
